Insurance & Client Support Coordinator

Position Summary:
Join a mission-driven team supporting individuals with disabilities by helping families and caregivers navigate the medical insurance funding process for assistive technology. This role blends customer service, healthcare administration, insurance coordination, and CRM system management to ensure a smooth and compliant funding experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with families, healthcare providers, insurance companies, and internal departments to resolve funding-related issues.
  • Ensure insurance documentation compliance and maintain accurate client records in accordance with HIPAA.
  • Prepare and send insurance-required documents prior to physician appointments; confirm appointment attendance.
  • Educate families on insurance benefits, eligibility, and required documentation.
  • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, SMS, and fax in a timely and professional manner.
  • Document all customer interactions and outcomes using Salesforce and other systems.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support company goals and process improvements.
  • Uphold department values: Listen, Learn, Lead.
  • Perform additional administrative and support duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in medical insurance coordination, benefits eligibility, or medical collections.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare insurance processes and terminology.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proven track record of process improvement and adaptability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field.

Position Details:

  • Pay: $55,000-$60,000 annually
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5:00pm
  • Location: Roseville, Hybrid after training
  • Type: Temp-to-hire (permanent after 720 hours)
